Profiles 1,2 and 3
Profiles
are usually given to course delegates to complete at
the beginning of a leadership course session. Once the
Action Centred Leadership model is explained, the course
delegates can open the scoring section and score their
own leadership profile.
They can discuss their own leadership
approach and consider the implication of the results.
if they are weak in a particular area, it also enables
the course tutor to help them understand how to handle
that aspect of weakness throughout the duration of the
course.

Functional
Leadership Profiles
These profiles may be used
in conjunction with a leadership training course
or a leadership coaching programme. They may also
be used for reviewing individual team leadership
activity in a small department or across an entire
organisation.
Typically questionnaires are completed
in advance of a training course, coaching session or
review meeting. Once processed each subject is provided
with a detailed Leadership Profile and Report. The
Profile and Report provide a tool for individual reflection,
for discussion with other course delegates or work
colleagues, or as the basis for leadership coaching.
Currently, there are three different versions of the
Functional Leadership Profile:
The Basic
Questionnaire covers six leadership functions:
Defining the Task, Planning, Controlling, Supporting,
Setting an Example and Reviewing.
